My Philosophy:
Giving birth is an event that I can only describe as Euphoric. It is an experience that you remember for the rest of your life and a woman doesn’t know her own physical, mental, and emotional strength until she has to bring a new life into the world. I would like to support women in achieving a birth experience that they can look back on with self elation. I know that sometimes there can be regrets after birth when things don’t go as you planned. I want to make sure that you know that you did what you could on your part and that every woman gives birth no matter how it is accomplished.
My Services:
- A fee of $500.00 which includes:
- 3 prenatal visits
- First visit is to get to know you. (free of charge)
- Second visit I will provide prenatal education,make a birth plan, as well as go over breathing techniques and natural pain management.
- Third visit will be to finalize all of your plans before your birth.
- I will be on call day or night from 38 weeks until delivery.
- I will be with you throughout your labor and delivery.
- 1 postpartum visit to you. I will see how mom and baby are doing and make sure breastfeeding is going well.
- I am available for six weeks postpartum for you to call for support. I am a mother to an infant and understand how difficult those first weeks are when you are trying to adjust to life with a newborn.

- I have a lending library of many great pregnancy and labor books for you to borrow.
- Breastfeeding support
- Postpartum depression support ( I have personally suffered from Postpartum depression)
- Cloth diaper instruction
- I would love to make a meal to bring for the new mother and her family!
- I custom make Ring sling carriers available for $30.00 and Nursing shawls available for $15.00
Hospitals I attend:
Presbyterian Main, Presbyterian Huntersville, Presbyterian Matthews, Gaston Memorial, CMC Main, CMC Pineville, CMC University, and Carolina Community Maternity Center. I will also attend Home births.
